This short documentary was originally conceived as a promotional piece for V2 Fitness, but became something more, as the personal story of Salvatore Bruno became apparent – his strength and struggle surrounding the event itself and honouring the memory of his late father.
Beginning with the ‘simple’ task of pulling a truck weighing 4 tonnes over 25 metres, Bruno then added a car to the back to make 5 tonnes, which he pulled a further 25 metres. Not satisfied, and wanting to push himself, he then added spectators to the back of the truck for a combined weight of over 6 tonnes, which he then pulled another 25 metres, a weight and a distance he had never tried before.
This fly-on-the-wall documentary aimed to capture the emotion and support of the charity event, which raised £1586 for the British Heart Foundation
